David Spencer was educated in the inner city suburb of Lewisham. A sports enthusiast, he represented City and NSW Under 18s in Rugby League, and later played grade football with Western Suburbs and Cronulla Sutherland.
David joined the NSW Police in 1985 working in uniform (General Duties), Criminal Investigation (having completed his Detective training program) and as a Prosecutor (following completing his Prosecutors training program).
The following 20 years in the Police has provided David with valuable experience in Criminal Law investigation and procedure of Police. This knowledge has assisted our clients in a variety of ways including but not limited to questioning by police, their investigation and presenting our clients cases before the courts.
Whilst David was working with the NSW Police, he commenced studying Bachelor of Laws. Following his departure from the NSW Police he was admitted to both the NSW Supreme Court and High Court of Australia.
Following David’s admission, he gained valuable experience as an employed solicitor with two law firms before commencing Spencer Lawyers.
Since David’s admission as a practicing solicitor he has been providing valuable assistance to our community in ensuring people’s rights are protected.
