Principal of Spencer Lawyers
Mr David Spencer is the Principal of Spencer Lawyers. He has a distinguished career as an exceptional specialised criminal defence lawyer.
Mr Spencer commenced his career in criminal law as a NSW Police Officer in 1985 until 2005. He worked in uniform General Duties, Detectives and the Police Prosecuting Branch where he spent thousands of hours advocating in the court room running many cases.
In 2006 he completed his Bachelor of Laws and was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2007. In 2010 he started Spencer Lawyers which has continued to grow to this date.
He regularly conducts difficult & complex defended hearings, trials and appeals, achieving an outstanding success rate.

Claudia Pitt
Claudia successfully completed her tertiary education and High School Certificate at the Central Coast Grammar school in 2017, achieving an atar of 96.7.
Claudia now holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from Macquarie University in Sydney and has successfully completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law New South Wales. Claudia has since been admitted as a solicitor by the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.
Claudia has been a member of Spencer Lawyers since November 2019, working primarily as a paralegal and administrative assistant and she is now the head solicitor in charge of the wills and estate administration and planning department.
Her specialties involve expertise and knowledge in the areas of estate planning, challenging wills, probate and family provision claims. However, Claudia is also available civil disputes, family agreements and for local and district court appearances for matters of a criminal and traffic nature.
Claudia demonstrates an astute, practical, and excitable approach to the law whilst continuing to be a hardworking and compassionate team member of Spencer Lawyers. She remains passionate in ensuring that the law remains accessible to all, providing a competent and empathic hand to those navigating the legal system.
